It was just a great match for a momentary visit in Matera with good price value. After requesting better pillows, I got them quickly for a restful night’s sleep. Make sure to ask for anything you need during your stay.

Room placement above a cafe could be misleading!!! Cobblestone walk to and from parking is a bit taxing, especially with luggage!!! Barking dog woke us early, adding to the discomfort of a cramped space.

The Classic Quadruple Room was such a unique spot to crash for the night! I loved how clean and comfy it was, especially after a long day exploring. Seriously, sleeping in a real Sassi cave was a vibe. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Matera. Just a little bit basic, but it felt authentic to the history of the place, which I totally appreciated.

great location but steep walk with luggage
The location was absolutely stunning, nestled right in the heart of the Sassi. The tiny balcony overlooked breathtaking views of the landscape, making my mornings and evenings a delight! The room was fresh and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. Also, I appreciated the splendid landmark view that made the experience truly special.
Prepare for a challenging climb with your luggage, as the stairs can be quite taxing.
